Tournament Supports:

G.O.L.F. Tournament Proceeds to Help Prevent Children's
Disabilities and Birth Defects Locally and Internationally

The Forest Grove Daybreak Rotary Club is organizing the NW Regional G.O.L.F. (Gift Of Life Fundraiser) Tournament to be held at the Forest Hills Country Club in Cornelius, Oregon on Friday, October 8th, 2010.

100% of all proceeds will help prevent childrens disabilities and birth defects locally and worldwide, through support of projects like Rotary Internationals Polio Eradication Program: Polio Plus, and Clean Water Projects which provide safe drinking water. Locally, The Childrens Hospital Foundation at Emanuel Medical Center is also a beneficiary of this event. The Childrens Hospital Foundation fosters charitable giving and community involvement to support: Life-saving new equipment, Charity care for families in need, Child Life and Art Therapy, Child Safety and Injury Prevention, the Childrens Garden and so much more.

The tournament will start at 11:00 am at Forest Hills Golf Club with registration, lunch, a putting and pitching contest, and an open driving range. There will be a shotgun start at 1 pm in a 4 player scramble format. Events conclude with a Steak Dinner, Awards for the top teams, and a Raffle.

Many sponsors have already pledged their support however, there are still many opportunities for additional support ranging from a Hole Sponsorship Package for $150 to an Event Sponsorship Package for $2,500. The Deadline for the 4 Player Team signup is October 1st. Participant fee is $100 which includes unlimited range balls, greens fees and cart, a box lunch, a goody bag, and the steak dinner immediately after the tournament.
